Update...
Here is what has been keeping me busy...
I started a new job...I enjoy what I do and I'm actually really doing well at it. It's good for the ego to hear lots of positive feedbackinstead of all the whining and ungratefulness that one gets at home.
I have nine kids about to start the school year...in four different schools.
We are gearing up for fall sports...eight kids playing on six different teams.
I've been getting ready for the busy-ness of fall by putting main dish after main dish in the freezer. I'm almost to 100 which is the magic number for me to feel prepared.
With summer produce finally coming on, I've been cleaning out the freezer of last years producethat I froze thinking that I would leisurely do something with over the winter which, of course, I didn't do. 100+ loaves of zucchini, squash, and carrot/pineapple bread later...and still not done. What in the heck was I thinking when I froze all that stuff?!
For some strange, unknown reason, baby chicks just keep appearing at my house. Sadly, over a dozen of them have turned out to be roosters. I'm getting ready to send a bunch to freezer camp. Should be an enlightening experience.
So...as I catch up on my posting...please pretend that the birthday posts and such are from recent birthdays...not ones that passed months ago...K?
Happy Summer!
